Ring Around the Mouth

Ethan has a permanent circle around his mouth.... this is due to his little nervous habit he has... He is constantly licking his lips... He'll pull out his long "giraffe" tongue and circle it around top to bottom leaving a nice ring around his mouth. In these pictures he had some sort of chocolate; the evidence is all over his face. This just drives us crazy because we have to keep washing his face and now he has chapped lips all the time. Oh, well... he'll out grow it.... eventually...

Emma's BIG Week!

Yesterday marked 10 months for Emma... She decided she needed to get some milestones out of the way before it was too late... First of all... She got her first tooth! We've been waiting and blaming every bad moment to teething and still nothing happened... FINALLY, it came! Now she is working on her second bottom tooth... Poor girl!

If you look very closely you can see her new tooth!

She's crawling! She really started about a week ago... she would take a step or two and would fall on her tummy and creep the rest of the way... now she is cruising along and building up speed... by this time next week... I will have a hard time keeping up! Now she follows me everywhere... Her favorite spot to go is to the bathroom for some reason... not the cleanest place, especially since I have a 3 year old boy!

Emma also pulled up to her feet for the first time this past week... When there is a will there's a way... she wanted to get into the toy box and.. well.. she did!

It's so much fun watching her grow! I can't believe she'll be a year in a couple of months!

Easter Sunday!

Easter morning the kids woke up to Easter baskets full of surprises from the Easter Bunny! If you ask Ethan who came he would say "Easter" not the Easter Bunny... I don't think he got the concept of the Easter Bunny...

Easter Weekend!

The Annual Riddle Family Easter Egg Hunt!

In the Riddle Family it is tradition to have the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday instead of on Easter Sunday... We met at Grandma Baker's house... We had our dinner and we set the kids loose!

Little Busy Body!

What do you get when you have a baby who it FINALLY learning to move and get around... You get a little busy body! She is everywhere! She is into EVERYTHING! She finds the littlest thing and somehow gets her little hands on it and you guessed it, it is in her mouth! I have to say, I love this time. She is less frustrated and more happy. Just yesterday she discovered how to get from tummy to bum by herself. I went in to get her from her nap and there she was sitting on her bum waiting for me. Wow! It's about time! She can crawl a step or two, but resorts to creeping on her tummy or rolling! It won't be long... I hope I'm ready for this!

She found Ethan's puzzle and does what she does best... puts the pieces in her mouth! Good thing Ethan didn't see this. He gets very upset when she plays with his things.

She likes to get her hands in her food and gets it everywhere!

Did I mention that she likes bread... She often shoves a bunch in her mouth, no worries... she spits it out!
