Rock Springs!

Scott had a couple of days off for the 4th of July and we headed off to Rock Springs to visit my brother and his family. I think it has been almost 3 years since we've been up there... we were overdue for a visit!

We took the kids to a splash park.

Emma was very unsure about this water spraying everywhere and getting in and getting all wet...

Ethan and Austin are loving it!

Emma finally got brave and the sprays of water went down in an area and she decided it was safe to play. Only to be trapped when the water sprayed back up and got her drenched!


This was her reaction! I'm chuckling right now reliving that moment... poor girl!

A few minutes later, she was all smiles again!

Later that evening we shot off some fireworks... Yes, the sun is still up, 7:00 to be exact... But it was still fun and the kids had a good time!

Another reason for the visit... Meet my new little niece! Evelyn J Riddle... Born June 19, Father's Day!

Emma really liked the baby!

What a sweetie! Precious! In our family Emma was born on June 16, Becky's birthday in the 17th and Hilary's birthday in on the 18th and now we have Evelyn on the 19th! It was meant to be!
